In 2022, my wife and I, along with our three children, sold everything we owned and embarked on a journey of travel and adventure, leaving Canada behind. Our first destination? Turkey. Unsurprisingly, many friends and family dubbed our decision as "crazy!"

After our time in Turkey and later Albania, we settled in Kosovo, where we quickly fell in love with the warm-hearted Kosovar people. After living in Kosovo for some time, we made the decision to purchase land in a village and build a Canadian-style wooden cottage and adopted a couple of street dogs.

When local Kosovars see us, walking our dogs, they often ask, "Why are you here? You're Canadian, living in a village in Kosovo? That's crazy!" And it's true—we certainly stand out as the only foreigners in our village, with the only wooden cottage around.

So, I embrace the title of "The Crazy Canadian." I cherish our lifestyle and the adventures we're experiencing. Living in Kosovo brings me immense joy, which is why I created KosovoLife.com—to share our CRAZY EH-MAZING ADVENTURES.
